Why are the Climate Change Believers Still Sucking on the Teet of Fossil Fuels?

I watch too much TV. I admit it. I’m retired and have too much free time on my hands. Also, one of my best friends tells me all the time that I’m too analytical. i.e. too much free time, too much TV, as a result, I think a lot.

While perusing the internet the other morning I ran across an article on climate change. I read some of the comments, pros and cons, and still nothing new in any of it. It’s all old hat, yesterdays fish wrap.

The believers are still screaming that the sky is going to fall and the non-believers spewing their rhetoric.

Here’s my trouble with the debate: I can’t believe in the context and innuendo that is being presented by the believers. The narrative is just all wrong.

It’s not that the climate isn’t changing, because it is. It’s because the believers would have us believe that we could somehow stop the climate from changing. That’s just a lie!

Consider this hypothetical: “If the believers somehow succeeded in removing all the co2 from the atmosphere, would climate change stop? NO!” The climate is going to continue to change for a myriad of reasons regardless of what we do!

The real truth behind the whole climate change discussion is that we humans are the dirtiest creatures on the face of the planet. This isn’t a new concept! I remember it from the late ‘60’s and early ‘70’s. The environmentalists then were telling us to clean up our act. In truth, I didn’t believe it then. I do now!

So why can’t the discussion be presented in the real context? Wouldn’t it make more sense to present the facts in such a way that directly impacts the public? That is, ‘We’re dirty,’ ‘it’s killing us,’ ‘it’s making us sick’, ‘we better fix it’?

So why do the believers continue in perpetrating their innuendo and false context?

Everyone has an agenda. Only the individual knows the real truth of that agenda. My agenda is this, I’m passionate about Fusion energy.

So what’s going on behind the scenes?

What’s not being said?

Here are some questions that I’d like to have answered.

Fossil fuels are the ‘Go-To’ energy source in the world, and nobody is challenging that, why?

Why is it that every time I see an article about climate change there is never a discussion about a real solution?

There is a solution out there. It’s not solar or wind turbines either.

Why aren’t any of the believers talking about and promoting fusion energy?

What? You say we don’t have a working model yet? Why is that? Do you think that the fossil fuel industry may have a hand in that?

Why doesn’t anyone ever hear of a climate change organization demanding that their congressman do more to promote fusion energy?

Why isn’t fusion energy in the news every day?

Not long ago there was a news article on G+ that the US Senate wanted to slash funding of the ITER project. Why wasn’t there a climate change organization protesting that?

Here are some different questions that need to be asked.

What support are the leaders of climate change getting from the fossil fuel industry?

Who are the leaders of the climate change movement?

What are their real agendas?

What stocks are in their investment portfolios?

Are these leaders of climate change making a living off the very companies that are causing the problems?

Why aren’t there any daily news reports of leaders of climate change directly challenging fossil fuels?

Is their P.R. department really that inept?

Fusion energy is the 98% clean energy, it’s coming, and it could be fantastic.
